Guests will need to be red carpet ready if they want to step onto this ultra-glamorous superyacht.
The vessel, named The Carat 187, will feature two sweeping staircases which mimic a red carpet, a large swimming pool and ample deck space for partying.
It measures 187 foot and, although it is currently just a concept, designers say it would cost more than £100 million to build.
The design has been inspired by the ‘world of celebrity’ and there is also an outdoor dining space, another pool at the prow and plenty of areas for lounging.
An additional design feature is the mix of textures and shapes, which give the swanky sea pad a ‘split personality’.
One side of the yacht has sculptural shapes, while the other side has soft and simple surfaces intєɴԀed to createan ‘introvert’ and ‘extrovert’ side.
A spokesman for UK-based design company Technicon, which oversaw the project, said: ‘Whilst cruising the seas, these details deliver a sensational visual and tactile experience for the owner and guests.’
‘The dramatic staircases, which are the yacht’s most striking feature, swing back into the yacht when it takes to the sea.’
Gareth Davies, European design director at design company Technicon, said he envisioned the yacht moored at a celebrity event like the Cannes Film Festival.
He added: ‘In our work across various domains of transport design, my team and I have developed a real understanding of the needs of a very particular client profile associated to our projects in private aviation, supercar design and luxury retail.
‘So, it was a very natural progression for us to apply this understanding, along with our core skill set in creative design, to a superyacht project.’
