WILL ERLING BRAUT HAALAND STAY LONG ENOUGH TO BEAT SERGIO AGUERO’S RECORD AT MAN CITY?

Having already won the Premier League Player of the Season award, he is now one of the favourites for the 2023Ballon d’Orprize.

ManCitypulled off a massive coup by signing the 22-year-old for such a low fee. But will he stay long enough to become Man City’s all-time record goalscorer?

Sergio Aguero holds the record with 260 goals – a feat he achieved during his 10-year stay at the Etihad Stadium.

Aguero was a prolific goalscorer forCity, but Haaland looks even better than the Argentine, having already scored six hat-tricks in his first season.

However, the Norwegian will need around five more years to top theclub’s all-time scoring charts.

He is currently under contract until 2027, but it is not guaranteed he will stay for that long.

The 22-year-old’s contract ɾєρօɾτedly contained a clause that allowed him to leave for £150m in 2024, butthat has now been removed.

The Cityzens are preparing a new Ԁєɑł for the young striker, but it is unclear whether his new contract will also contain a release clause.

Real Madrid remainkeen to secure Haaland’s services, despite his decision to move to the Premier League.
