Tottenham interest in Man Utd star is ‘genuine’ as two European giants sєɴԀ scouts to track ace

Ben Jacobs has confirmed that Tottenham’s interest in Jadon Sancho is genuine as Manchester United prepare for offers from Europe.

Sancho hasn’t had the best of times since making his move over to Manchester in 2021.

The 23-year-old signed a five-year Ԁєɑł with the club upon his arrival fromBorussia Dortmund, with the option of a further year.

However, just two years into his Man United career and he is being linked with a move away from the club.

Tottenham have been linked with a move for the winger, but Jacobs has confirmed that they are not alone in their interest.

“The Tottenham interest is real for sure,” Jacobs clarified onThe United Stand.

“My understanding is that Erik ten Hag was quite prepared to give Sancho time and as a consequence he’s not at the top of the list in terms of outgoings, but money can talk.

“I think £50m or £60m would be the kind of fee which would give Man Utd a decision to be made, especially if they have other incomings waiting.

“That one is a possibility, nothing is advanced at this point to my understanding, but the Tottenham interest is genuine.

“I would also add a couple of European clubs to the list that have looked at Sancho. One is PSG and the other is Napoli.

“So there’s two clubs there that will both have Champions League football next season that have sent scouts to watch the player and have discussed him internally as well.”

The 23-year-old featured in 26 league matches for Man United this season and scored six goals and provided three assists.

Plenty of pundits have speculated that Sancho’s time at Old Trafford could soon come to an єɴԀ.

Dwight Yorke claimed that Sancho is on “borrowed time” at Old Trafford as the England international hasn’t “lived up to the price tag”.

“Yeah, it’s one of a mystery, really. He had so much potential and hope for the likes of Manchester United. Huge investment, really did an amazing job when he was at Dortmund.

“Somehow the transition from there to Manchester hasn’t really worked out in the way that we all thought it might for him. Really struggled, whether it’s from a mental point of view, which seems to be well documented. He hasn’t really really lived up to the price tag.

“So yeah, he’s on borrowed time, I suppose, if you have to be fair in many respects. He hasn’t really produced the goods that we expect him.”
