Real Madrid could now pinch Dusan Vlahovic from Chelsea as the Spanish giants explore backup options to Kylian Mbappe.

What’s the story?
Well, Chelsea and Juventus are currently in talks over a player-plus-cash Ԁєɑł for the Serbia international which also includes Romelu Lukaku.
However, the Italian giants also want some money, as they feel Vlahovic is worth more than the Belgium international.
As a result, Chelsearecently bid £17mand Lukaku for the Juventus No.9 – according toCorriere dello Sport– an offer which was rєjєƈτed.
It was said that Juventus want at least £26m and Lukaku for the 23-year-old.
Now – however – before Chelsea get a chance to increase that bid, Real Madrid could complicate things.
Cadena SER believe Carlo Ancelotti’s side are hoping to sign Mbappe from PSG this summer, but with plenty of doubt surrounding that Ԁєɑł, alternatives are being seriously explored with Vlahovic the primary option.
The Spanish news outlet add that Vlahovic wants to play Champions League football next season, so he would pick Real Madrid over Chelsea.
Vlahovic to Real Madrid could see Lukaku stay at Chelsea
As things stand, an agreement with Juventus appears to be the only way Chelsea can get rid of Lukaku and his extraordinary £350,000-a-week wages.
The Belgian has angered Inter Milan to the point of the Italian giants withdrawing their interest, while the striker is also not keen on a move to Saudi Arabia.
That means Juventus are his only realistic destination as things stand, although that could all come crashing down if Real Madrid spoil the proposed swap Ԁєɑł.
Of course, Juventus could still sign Lukaku, although they may also decide to look elsewhere if those at the Allianz Stadium receive a large sum from Real Madrid for Vlahovic.
The general feeling is that Juventus and Chelsea are only negotiating out of convenience, as there has been hardly any interest in Lukaku or Vlahovic this summer, and neither striker is wanted at their respective club.
