Real Madrid have been tracking Guler for a long time now and have made it a serious mission to sign him this summer. The Spanish capital club see him as aperfect fit for their recruitment strategyof signing young talents with potential to become superstars.

Los Blancoshave considered the possibility of signing Guler this summer and loaning him out to Fenerbahce or a different club in Europe as they have players like Jude Bellingham and Brahim Diaz who play in the 18-year-old’s position, which would restrict his game time.

However, the possibility of retaining him at the club from this year only has not been entirely ruled out either.

As far as Barcelona are concerned, they are making big efforts to secure an agreement for Guler. Their new sporting director, Deco, even flew to Turkey yesterday to hold talks with the youngster’s club and entourage.

However, the Catalan giants would be looking to sign him for 2024 as their financial problems prohibit them from welcoming the 18-year-old to the club this summer itself.

Both the La Liga giants are very keen on signing Guler and are at war to acquire his services. Recent ɾєρօɾτs have suggested that Barcelonamight have their noses in frontfollowing Deco’s visit to Turkey.

But Real Madrid are not giving up on the teenage sensation as of yet and will hope to beat their arch-rivals for his capture. TheMerengueswish to have their squad ready in time for pre-season and believe that the matter will be resolved in the coming days one way or the other.
