Kylian Mbappe’s transfer saga has largely been in the shadows in recent weeks. The Frenchman appeared close to signing for Real Madrid for a brief period, but things have not gone to ρłɑɴ from there on.

Several factors dictate the winger’s next move, including his contractual situation and the bonuses he is due to be paid. PSG do not see eye to eye with the star and understandably demand clarity over his position so as to ρłɑɴ for the season ahead.

According to ɾєρօɾτs fromMario Cortegana, PSG’s stance on the situation remains unchanged – they either want Mbappe to renew or leave this summer.

Club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi expects the forward to clarify his position before July 31st and opt to either renew his contract or leave this summer.

The aforementioned date is critical from a contractual standpoint and the date before which the youngster has to make a decision. Cortegana, however, confirms that the saga could well go on beyond the єɴԀ of the month.

PSG refuse to lose Mbappe on a free transfer next summer, and understandably so. After all, he is their biggest asset and his departure would leave a big void in their setup.

The player, however, prefers to move next summer as a free agent. It would not only fetch him all theloyalty bonusesowed to him by PSG but also a massive signing-on bonus from Real Madrid.

Real Madrid have currently turned a blind eye to the developments in Paris and are waiting for Mbappe to take the transfer forward. What is clear fromLos Blancos’side is that they will not riskfinancial instabilityby going all out for any player, Mbappe included.
