With just four days left of the Summer transfer window, it is quite clear that Manchester United are crying out for squad reinforcements with there being potentially three positions of priority for United.
A left-back, another midfielder and potentially a centre-back could well be targeted byErik ten Hagalthough they will have to get a move on before the window slams shut.
Here are four options thatUnitedcould pursue in the final few days of the transfer window before the window slams shut.
1. Amadou Onana
The Everton midfielder has been linked with a move to Old Trafford although the fee that the 21-year-old midfielder would demand may well be prohibitive for United this summer.
The commanding midfielder would bring the physical presence that the midfield is lacking andOnanawould complementCasemirovery nicely in the middle of the park.
The fee, according toThe Guardian, may well be in the region of £50 million so the sale ofScott McTominaywould be crucial for United to be able to afford the Belgian midfielder.
2. Sofyan Amrabat
Despite the Moroccan being linked so much with United to the point where the links are becoming so tedious that the Ԁєɑł has lost all of its excitement.
But looking at the actual player United would be getting, then there is certainly cause for excitement. A midfielder who is superb on the ball and isn’t afraid to crunch into a 50/50 tackle.
AmrabatreplacingMount, whilst the Englishman is out injured, would be a superb midfield for United to build on this season, although a Ԁєɑł is seemingly far from done.
3. Marc Cucurella
The Spanish left-back has only come into the reckoning as a result ofLuke Shaw’sιɴjυɾу, which could keep him out until November.
However, the Spaniard could well be the best option for Ten Hag. The left-back, who is the most expensive defєɴԀer in the game at £63 million, at 25, has the potential to grow and was superb for Brighton under Graham Potter.
Cucurellamay well have had a poor season at Stamford Bridge but his quality is obvious, obvious to the point that Pep Guardiola was keen on him to join Manchester City.
4. Jean-Clair Todibo
The French defєɴԀer has been heavily linked with United this summer. The OGC Nice defєɴԀer could well be available for a fee in the region of £35 million.
With the potential loss ofRaphael Varaneto ιɴjυɾу, the former Barcelona defєɴԀer would provide superb backup to the World Cup-winning defєɴԀer.
United would need to sellHarry Maguirefor a fee in the region of £30 million before Todibo could be targeted but nevertheless, the Frenchman would be a welcome addition at Old Trafford.
