Manchester United had their first offer for Benjamin Pavard turned down by Bayern Munich, according to ɾєρօɾτs from Germany.
Sky Deutschlandwrites the Red Devils placed an ‘official’ bid for the defєɴԀer, and that wasn’t enough to convince the Bundesliga giants.
The ɾєρօɾτ doesn’t say how much Manchester United have put on the table. As they repeatedly say this was the ‘first’ attempt, it sounds like there will be new moves soon.
It’s once again said that Pavard wants to leave Bayern Munich this summer, and he’s not willing to extєɴԀ his contract. Sky even wonder if he had one of his last matches for the club when playing the Supercup game against RB Leipzig on Saturday.
Manchester United are labelled as ‘favourites’ to sign the 27-year-od, especially because they have a verbal agreement with the player.
Previous ɾєρօɾτs from Sky had claimed that Pavard had a valuation of around €30m, but it’s not stated how much Manchester United offered.
Valued by Transfermarkt at €40m, the player is entering the final year of his contract with Bayern Munich.
