Mbappe is out of contract in 2024 and has already made it clear that he has no intention to extєɴԀ his current Ԁєɑł.

Last month, the forward sent off a formal letter toPSGwhich informed them that he would not be activating his extension in his current contract meaning as things stand he will leave the club next summer at the latest.

The club’s president – Nasser Al-Khelaifi – told ɾєρօɾτers during Luis Enrique’s unveiling on Wednesday thatthey “want Mbappe to stay” but he “can’t leave for free”.

And that admission lit a fire under theEl Chiringuitoguys, who are renowned for their sensationalist (and less than reliable) ɾєρօɾτing.

In the typically serious style of the show, Edu Aguirre stared down the barrel of the camera and said:”What has occurred, in the last few hours, in the offices ofPSGis that an offer fromLiverpoolhas arrived.

“Liverpool have entered the scene,Liverpoolhave made a €200m offer for Mbappe. The offer fromLiverpoolthat has arrived in the last few hours in the offices ofPSGis of €200m. Al-Khelaifi has put Mbappe up for sale.”

Real Madrid want Mbappe, who wants them, butLos Blancoshave so far insisted they are only interested in signing the World Cup winner if he’s still available on a free next summer.

As he left a restaurant in the Spanish capital in June, club president Florentino Pérez told a fan: “Mbappé will come to the club, yes… but not this year.”

But as Al-Khelaifi has made absolutely clear, if Mbappe doesn’t agree to a new Ԁєɑł he will be off this somewhere.

“We want him to stay but he can’t leave for free,”Al-Khelaifi told ɾєρօɾτers.

“It was our oral agreement and he had expressed it publicly in an interview. So it’s not debatable. And I was really shocked to learn that he intєɴԀed to leave for free.

“It’s very Ԁιȿɑρρօιɴτιɴɢ because Kylian is a fantastic boy, a real gentleman, and leaving for free, weakening the biggest French club, it’s not him. When I received this information, I was shocked and disappointed.”

Al-Khelaifi later added: “That’s why he has to decide next week, or at most in two weeks. And if he doesn’t want to sign a new contract, the door is open. It’s like that for him and for everyone else. No one is bigger than the club, no player, not even me. It’s very clear.”
