The player wants to make his decision quickly and had offers from Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia and Inter Miami in MLS.

It seems he has chosen the latter as his destination, which could be construed as a choice made by his family, who, ɾєρօɾτedly preferred Miamioverthe Middle East.

Earlier today, ɾєρօɾτs emerged claiming that theMLS outfit were getting closer and closerto the capture of the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Furthermore,Gerard Romerois now ɾєρօɾτing that Barcelona have informed him that they have been told by Messi’s camp that he will not be returning.

This development comes as a devastating blow for the La Liga champions who were dreaming of re-signing their former captain for one last dance.

Manager Xavi Hernandez had been very vocal about wanting to bring Messi back to the club. However, the lack of a formal offer, failure to offer guarantees over his registrationand the Argentine’s hurry to make a decision on his future seems to have contributed to the reunion not materialising.

Instead, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner will be plying his τɾɑԀє at Inter Miami, where he will be offered a lucrative financial package that includes a percentage of profits from MLS partners like Adidas and Apple.

On top of that, Messi will also have the option of buying a stake in an MLS club once he retires, similar to David Beckham.
