Ceballos is expected to be sidelined for approximately six weeks.The pre-season training sessions atReal Madridcommenced on Monday and have proven to be physically demanding. The sessions have taken a toll on Ceballos, who had been training at home during the summer to prepare himself for the rigorous pre-season training.
The timing of this ιɴjυɾу for the Madrid midfielder couldn’t be any worse as he faces tough competition in his position this year. The upcoming pre-season games would have provided the 26-year-old with a chance to stand out.
During the previous season, Ceballos only had one setback, in October. Following that ιɴjυɾу, he remained relatively ιɴjυɾу-free for the remainder of the season, gradually increasing his playing time as the season progressed.
