Cityclaimed the first Champions League win in their history in Istanbul by defeating Inter 1-0 thɾօυɢҺRodri’semphatic finish. After already wrapping up the Premier League title and FA Cup, the Blues have now become the second English team to win the treble.

Haaland’sfirst season at the Etihad couldn’t have gone much better as he finished the campaign with an astonishing 52 goals. But the Norwegian has vowed to get even better and wants to be lifting trophies again in 12 months’ time,

“I think after a couple of days when this settles, this feeling of winning this trophy, I think I will want to do it again for sure,” he told BT Sport. “I know myself that much that I’m quite sure that’s how I will think.

“I can improve a lot. Today was a difficult game. I was close a couple of times, I had a chance in the first half, I could have got the ball from Gundo in the first half but he played to Jack.

“Second half was really close from Phil a couple of times so on a good day I could have scored two goals but in the єɴԀ I really don’t care about that right now, to be Һօɴєȿτ. Right now in finals the only thing is about winning, in these games it’s about performing as a team and to get the trophy.

“Really emotional. Same for me as well. Such a big game, you know, the pressure is unbelievable. To work with him is really special, we have a good relationship and ever since I came here he has been helping me a lot.

“I really look forward to next season to develop even more because as I just said I think I can develop a lot because I’m still young, I’m only 22 I have a lot of years left. To be getting trained by him every single day, the best coach in the world, is a good place to be.”

Haaland is also hoping his journey to the pinnacle can be an inspiration to young people that they can go to the very top of the game. “Unbelievable. In my wildest dreams I would never think of this as 22-year-old me, to be Һօɴєȿτ,” he added.

“But it shows that it is possible for a guy from a small hometown in Norway. This also gives motivation to other young people that was in my situation, playing football in the indoor hall in my hometown. So, it’s unbelievable.”
