Since the beginning of the summer transfer window, United have been linked with several top-notch strikers from various leagues.

Recently during an interview,Manchester Unitedmanager Erik ten Hag was asked about the club’s pursuit to sign a striker. The Dutch manager answered by saying that the team had made progress. Ten Hag also added that he hoped the club would be able to sign a striker early so that it would be easier for him to adjust to United’s game. Speaking about the issue, Erik ten Hagsaid:

“We make progress, yeah. But you know how it works – when we have him, we will tell you directly. The only thing I can say is we do everything that’s in our power to get that done. If it was up to me, yeah, as soon as possible. The earlier the better because we have to integrate him in the team, the way of play.”
