And now Ten Hag has given another indication that De Gea could indeed be heading for the exit door. The 37-year-old is in his second stint at United, having failed to make a single appearance between 2005-2010 as he joined seven different clubs on loan. He returned in 2021, but has been limited to just two League Cup games, plus one in the Europa League.

United had previously had three bids rєjєƈτed for the 24-year-old, amid the Blues demanding a Ԁєɑł worth up to £65 million. However, the two clubs came to a compromise with Mount’s contract set to expire in 12 months’ time.
