Is that asuperyacht? Is that a mammal or a whale from the future? You are looking at Italian design studio SkyStyle’s superyacht concept named Unique 71. This futuristic concept is aptly named Unique 71, owing to its size of 71m (232 feet). With its exaggerated, pointed bow and wraparound glass paneling, the vessel manages a silhouette that’s truly exceptional from the motley of cruisers that come our way. Denison Yachting has teamed up with SkyStyle to make something that breaks the conventional methods of yacht design. The boxy, closed appearance of Unique 71 is completely changed when you look at the aft deck that reveals the wonders that lay inside.
Coming back to the unique shape of the cruiser, it helps slice thɾօυɢҺ the high seas with a top speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots. Making optimum use of its 13-meter beam, the designers have incorporated six cabins that can sleep 12 guests in addition to a master stateroom and one VIP suite. Crew quarters on the lower deck can sleep 17 in nine cabins. Unique 71 comes with four sprawling decks that can be accessed with elevators or the wraparound central staircase. The main deck is the most entertaining section of the superyacht with a 12-seat theatre, a large dining room, and a large swimming pool flanked by additional seating and sun pads for a relaxing day.
According toBoat International, Denison’s Alex Clarke added, “In today’s world of yacht design, we are constantly pushing the boundary of what is possible both in form and function. Unique 71 aims to satisfy the most challenging client. The challenge will be finding a shipyard that can understand this vision and the client’s goals. We look forward to playing a small role.” Unique 71 also comes with a fantastic sky lounge sundeck, a jacuzzi, a touch-and-go helipad, and a plunge pool with an automatic cover. Other than relaxation areas, there is a gym to keep fitness Fɾєɑƙs busy, a sauna for letup, and a billiard/bar room for entertainment.
