Bellingham was the first to speak to the media after the team’s comprehensive win over Manchester United. The new signing commented on his general feeling at the club and his relationship with the staff and players.

The English prodigy went on to speak his heart out about the goal he scored on the night and did not forget to credit Antonio Rudiger for the assist.

“I am very happy to play with these players and I say it in every interview. The goal was after a great pass from Rüdiger. It’s a great joy to play with footballers who understand my movements.”

Joselu also gets off the mark for Real Madrid

“I was upset because I missed a header before, but very happy with the goal and the victory,”he said.

On pulling off the bicycle kick, Joselu added:”It’s not the first time I’ve tried it and it went well. I did what I thought at the last moment. The ball was very high, it crossed my head and the ball went in.”

With no other natural centre-forward available to the manager, Joseu has a massive weight on his shoulders to rack up numbers forLos Blancosin the upcoming season. He talked about his work ethic and the boost in morale the win gave him.

“I train and try to score goals in the best possible way. I am left with the importance it has had to close the game and give us morale for the rest of the pre-season. We’ve played a good game.”

“I haven’t even been here for three weeks and everything is new to me. I don’t like to talk about numbers. I’ve come here to help and to do what the coach asks me to do. A striker likes to score and that’s why I’m happy,”he said.

“Surrounded by these players everything is easier. I’ve been very well received and the adaptation has been very good.”
