JournalistAlbert Rogehas confirmed thatBarcelonahave finalized the transfer of 19-year-old academy winger Estanis Pedrola to Sampdoria on a season-long loan with a mandatory purchase option worth €3 million.
The ɾєρօɾτer adds thatBarçahave reserved a €7 million buyback clause until 2025 and have also reserved a percentage of the future sale for the teenager, who has made only one senior appearance for the team.
Xavi told Pedrola to find a new home
While Estanis has only managed a solitary appearance for Barcelona’s first team, his performances forBarçaAtlètic since joining the team in 2021 have been quite prolific.
In fact, during the 2022- 23 season, the 19-year-old scored eight goals in 23 outings.
But with no place in the senior team for the 2023-24 season andBarcelonain urgent need to generate income, he wastold to findanew homeas soon as he can by none other than Xavi.
