According to Spanish publicationMARCA, Valencia have informedBarcelonathat if they are looking to loan out Nico Gonzalez, they are more than willing to have him for one more season.
Barcelona are extensively working on sorting out the squad for the 2023-24 season and for that, they are looking to either loan out a few youngsters or sell them on a permanent basis. Those who are on the higher side of the wage bill are under the latter categories while the young guns are in the former.
As far as Nico is concerned, he is one of the manyBarcelonaplayers who areexpected to leave on a temporary basisand if what the aforementioned outlet has ɾєρօɾτed is to be believed, Valencia are interested in having the midfielder back at the club.
It must be remembered that Nico, 21, spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Valencia and made 26 appearances across all competitions, scoring one goal.
