Arsenal starFolarin Balogun has been tipped to push for a summer exit after it was ɾєⱱєɑłєԀ the club have slapped a£35m asking price on the forward.
Balogun has recently enjoyed a prolific spell on loan withReims in Ligue 1 and his future is now up in the air.
The 21-year-old scored 21 league goals while in France and has been linked with several top sides from around Europe.
AC Milan and Inter have both been linked with the forward,along with a host of Premier League clubs.
The latest ɾєρօɾτs have claimed that Balogun hasrєjєƈτed the chance to discuss a new Ԁєɑł and a summer exit now seems likely.
Paul Brown has claimed that Balogun could push for an exit soon, although things could yet take a twist inpre-season.
“If he genuinely does think he’s ready and he isn’t willing to wait, you could see him pushing for a move,” Brown toldGIVEMESPORT.
“But we’re not at that stage yet, so I think we’ll have to see how things develop in pre-season first.”
Balogun’s stock is at an all-time high right now and as the club cannot guarantee him a starting spot next season, they might be wise to cash in on him.
Arteta himself has been complimentary ofBalogun in the media as he lauded his performances in France thɾօυɢҺout the season.
“I’m so happy for him,” Arteta told the club website in February. “He’s a boy that has a really clear idea of what he wants to do with his career. He’s really ambitious, really committed and really brave.
“We discussed a lot before he made that move whether it was the right place to go and the other choices he had. He was so convinced. I’m really happy for him because he deserves what he’s getting.”
The forward is contracted with Arsenal until 2025 and so the club is in a strong position to dictate his future.
Given how prolific he was in France last season, there certainly won’t be a shortage of offers for the 21-year-old.
Crystal Palace are among the Premier League clubs interested inBalogun, although they deem his current asking price as too high.
