Former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey thinks it would be a mistake if his former club let Balogun leave this summer.

“I’m not the Arsenal manager but Balogun’s very good. We played against him a couple of times and, from what I saw there, he’s a very exciting player to have in your team,” Ramsey said.

“Arsenal have many great players but he’s definitely got the quality. And, yes, he’s good enough for the Premier League.”

When speaking about Balogun in February, Arteta said:”He’s a boy that has a really clear idea of what he wants to do with his career. He’s really ambitious, really committed and really brave.

“We discussed a lot before he made that move whether it was the right place to go and the other choices he had. He was so convinced. I’m really happy for him because he deserves what he’s getting.”
