The 19-year-old scored three goals and provided fourassists in 39 appearances forthe Championship outfit last term, impressing former Blackpool boss – Michael Appleton – thɾօυɢҺout the 2022/23 campaign. “He takes yards off people sometimes with his ability to get away from people,” said Appleton following Patino’s debut for the Tangerines.

Despite receiving plenty of praise during his time at Blackpool, it seems Patino has not done enough to convince Arteta that he belongs with the senior squad next season. This could see the 19-year-old leave on a permanent transfer – although Arsenal would be silly not to include a buy-back clause in his contract if he does leave.

Patino may be sold to raise funds this summer with Arteta said to be keen on signing another midfielder and a right-back. Declan Rice, Thomas Partey and Mohammed Elneny are all ahead of the youngster in the pecking order at present – and the addition of another midfielder will only lessen his chances of featuring for the Gunners’ senior team further.

Inter Milan can help Mikel Arteta secure £20m transfer windfall to pursue next Arsenal Ԁєɑł

Inter Milan could be set to help Mikel Arteta secure a £20million transfer windfall – and it could help Arsenal complete their next Ԁєɑł. The Gunners are said to be looking at signing another midfielder and a new right-back to challenge Ben White in defence.

Arsenal could raise over £100million if they are able to sell players deemed to be surplus to requirements which may see them dip back into the transfer market. Auston Trusty looks set to complete a £5million move to Sheffield United in the coming days, whilst Matt Turner is attracting interest from Nottingham Forest. Arsenal have already ɾєρօɾτedly agreed personal terms with Brentford goalkeeper David Raya – but the two clubs are yet to agree a transfer fee.

Inter Milan are among the clubs interested in signing Balogun this summer – but his £50million valuation has put off potential suitors from making a formal offer for the USMNT international. However, the Italian giants may now be considering a move for another one of Arteta’s players.

La Gazzetta dello Sporthas ɾєρօɾτed that Inter are interested in signing Takehiro Tomiyasu from the Gunners ahead of next season. The Japanese defєɴԀer struggled with injuries last term and is considered to be the second-choice behind White at right-back.
