Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo has been linked with a move away from the Amex Stadium this summer, with Chelsea and Arsenal both linked.

Brighton star Moises Caicedo has attracted considerable interest from both Arsenal and Chelsea in recent times.

The Gunners saw bids of £60million and £70million for Caicedo rєjєƈτed during the January transfer window, with Roberto De Zerbi’s side making it clear that he was not for sale. Since then, Declan Rice has arrived at the Emirates Stadium, meaning the north Londoners’ are no longer in need of a holding midfielder.

However, this could change if Thomas Partey leaves the club andfootball.londonunderstandsthat the Ghana international is one of the players thatArsenal would be open to selling this summerif a suitable offer were to come in. If Partey was sold, it remains to be seen whether or not the Gunners would then pivot back to pursuing a move for Caicedo, who verbally agreed on personal terms with Chelsea earlier this summer.

football.londonunderstands that theBlues and Brighton held positive talks in recent daysover the possible sale of Caicedo, although no Ԁєɑł has been agreed yet. If Arsenal did єɴԀ up deciding to make a renewed push to sign the 21-year-old, they may very well have an ace up their sleeve in negotiations.

According toCBS Sports, Brighton are one of the teams interested in Gunners striker Folarin Balogun.football.londonunderstands that the Hale єɴԀ academy graduate is available this summer at the right fee.

Balogun enjoyed a hugely successful 2022/23 campaign on loan in Ligue 1 with Reims, where he netted 21 league goals. Perhaps if the Seagulls really are keen on signing the 22-year-old, he could be used as a makeweight in a player-plus-cash Ԁєɑł for the aforementioned Caicedo.

Similarly, Brighton are interested in Chelsea youngster Levi Colwill, who spent last season on loan at the Amex Stadium. However, unlike Arsenal with Balogun, the Blues currently have no interest in a sale for the 20-year-old.
