Inter Milan have ɾєρօɾτedly revived their interest in signing Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun, with a potential £30million decision to be made.
Arsenalmay have been handed a boost in their quest to trim Mikel Arteta’s squad.
The Gunners have already spent over £200million during the summer transfer window to recruit Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber and Kai Havertz. But they now have a slightly bloated squad, which Arteta himself has admitted is slightly unsustainable.

One player that has been heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium is young striker Folarin Balogun. The 22-year-old enjoyed a superb 2022/23 campaign while on loan in Ligue 1 with Reims, netting 21 league goals – a tally that was bettered by just three players.

Inter Milan had been pursuing a Ԁєɑł for the Hale єɴԀ academy graduate but Arsenal’s steep asking price for the player forced them to turn their attention to signing West Ham United frontman Gianluca Scamacca instead. But the Italian international looks set to sign for Atalanta instead.
Now, Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, viaGFNI, has claimed that Inter will return their focus to Balogun, who they want to sign for around €35million (£30million), with the player also said to be keen on the move. According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the Nerazzurri are preparing to approach the Gunners regarding a Ԁєɑł for the youngster.
