Speaking in an interview (h/tTenfield), Jose Luis Palma, the president of Liverpool Montevideo, has confirmed thatBarcelonatarget Fabricio Diaz will likely be sold this summer and that his price will be €8 million.
Diaz, 20, is one of the most coveted young midfielders after his performances for Liverpool Montevideo as well as the Uruguayan youth national teams.
Despite being just 20 years old, the defensive midfielder has already made over 100 appearances for his club and is also the captain of the first team.
