TheReal Madridstar is considered to be Thomas Tuchel’s iԀєɑł alternative after the Rekordmeister failed in their attempt to lure Declan Rice to Bavaria.Bayernhave been in contact with Tchouaméni’s management where a discussion surrounding a loan has been made ifReal Madridare unwilling to sell the 23-year-old.
Nevertheless, the German champions are yet to make an official approach for the French midfielder, and it could be some time until one is made. There is an understanding amongst theBayerncamp that Tchouaméni may become available later on in August due to the competition within Real Madrid’s midfield.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Tuchel explained thatBayernare still searching for a future number six: “There are only a few players who, in my opinion, can make us better. These players are sometimes unavailable, sometimes things happen that we don’t know, or things won’t happen for the next few weeks. Let’s see, we’re relaxed.”
While Tchouaméni would be theBayernboss’ preferred option there are other names that the Rekordmeister could turn to. Failed Borussia Dortmund signing Edson Álvarez is still appreciated in Munich and a move could be made, however, Tuchel is holding out for a player with proven quality in one of Europe’s top leagues.
