Arsenal transfer news: The Gunners have been busy in the summer transfer window so far and the spєɴԀing may not be over just yet.

Arsenalare less than a month away from their first game of the 2023/24 season against Nottingham Forest and Mikel Arteta has completed the necessary transfer business needed.

Kai Havertz was the first thɾօυɢҺ the door from London rivals Chelsea for £65million. DefєɴԀer Jurrien Timber’s move from Ajax was completed on Friday before the Gunners smashed their club-record transfer fee to sign Declan Rice for £105million from West Ham.

All three arrivals will bring something to Arteta’s squad that was missing last season. The north Londoners led the way for the majority of the year in the Premier League but eventually fell short at the hands of Manchester City.

With over a month left of the summer window, there still remains the chance that more players could be signed. A number of individuals face uncertain futures at London Colney, with a number of departures expected to happen before any more signings are made.

Thomas Partey, Folarin Balogun and Nicolas Pepe have all been subjects of interest this summer. No official bids have been made for their services, as of yet, but that could all change in the coming weeks.

And according toSky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth, the Gunners’ focus is now on selling players before delving back into the transfer market. “The focus will be on departures, simply because they’ve spent £200million,” he said. “But, the right-sided attacking position is something that Arsenal will try to look at.

“They’ve been focusing on that position in the past couple of windows, so maybe just keep an eye on that. Maybe the central midfield area as well. I know that Rice has signed, but Granit Xhaka has left. If Partey was to leave, we know there’s interest, maybe they will look at recruiting there as well.”

Various ɾєρօɾτs from Saudi Arabia on Saturday night had indicated that Partey had agreed to join a Saudi Arabian club.football.londonunderstands that the Gunners want a considerable fee to part ways with Partey, with Rice’s arrival placing doubt over his minutes.

Southampton prodigy Romeo Lavia and Brighton’s Moises Caicedo are suggested to replace the 30-year-old. However, no further incomings are expected until players do, indeed, leave.
