Barcelona have an agreement in principle with Athletico Paranaense for the signing of Vitor Roque. The Catalans will be paying a fixed transfer fee of €35 million and another €10 million in add-ons for the 18-year-old striker,taking the total cost of operation to €45 million.
Roque is also understood to have agreed a six-year contract with theBlaugranauntil 2029. However, until there are sales made,Barcelonacannot progress on the Ԁєɑł and make it official
And, as perSPORT, three big European clubs – Chelsea, Manchester United, and PSG – are trying to take advantage of the situation and hijack Barcelona’s Ԁєɑł to sign Roque from Athletico Paranaense.
The three clubs are willing to offer a bigger sum than whatBarcelonahave agreed with the Brazilian outfit for the teenage centre-forward.
At the same time, the ɾєρօɾτ also states that Chelsea, Man United, and PSG would be willing to triple the wages that Roque would be earning if he joins theBlaugrana.
Roque’s six-year Ԁєɑł with the La Liga champions would apparently see him earn gross wages worth €3.5 million per season. And the three suitors would be willing to raise that figure to €10 million-a-year, close to triple of what the Catalans have offered him.
On top of that, the three clubs would also be offering a lucrative bonus and commission to his entourage. These are figures thatBarçasimply cannot match in their current financial situation.
Despite that, though, Roque has remained firm on his desire to sign forBarcelona. The 18-year-old is ignoring the offers coming from Chelsea, Manchester United, and PSG as he is single-mindedly focused on becoming aBarçaplayer.
The La Liga giants are working tirelessly to make some sales so that they can try and ensure Roque’s registration this summer itself. However, in case that is not possible,the 18-year-old would be arriving in January 2024, or possibly even next summer.
