That is according to ɾєρօɾτer Chris Wheatley whilst writing for3 Added Minutes.

It’s stated that Pepe is ‘open minded’ to making the move to Saudi Arabia in an effort to get his career back on track.

Pepe famously joined Arsenal in a huge £72million Ԁєɑłback in 2019 having impressed for Ligue 1 side Lille.

The Ivorian has managed 27 goals and 21 assists in 112 Arsenal games but has still failed to really live up to the billing.

Bukayo Saka’s emergence didn’t help matters for Pepe and he spent this past season on loan at Nice.

Eight goals in 28 games is a decent record but Pepe is heading back to Arsenal with no future under Mikel Arteta.

The Sunclaim that Pepe earns around £140,000-a-week at Arsenal and convincing a club to take that on will be a big ask.

Saudi Arabia may be the best bet and the 28-year-old appears to be intrigued by the possibility of a move to the Middle East.

Nicolas Pepe could be latest Saudi Arabia addition

This is the summer of Saudi Arabian transfers, almost similar to the signings made in the Chinese Super League once upon a time.

Cristiano Ronaldo really got the ball rolling by joining Al-Nassr upon leaving Manchester United.

Karim Benzema has now joined Al-Ittihad and it looks like N’Golo Kante will be following soon enough.

Those are some huge names and more are expected to follow.

90Minclaim that Chelsea duo Romelu Lukaku and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – seemingly unwanted at Stamford Bridge – have been approached over moves to Saudi Arabia.

Blues teammate Hakim Ziyech is also wanted whilst Al-Ahli have been targeting a move for Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez according toThe Guardian.

Pepe may now be the latest big name addition, with Saudi Arabia seemingly looking to land some rather expensive yet unwanted Premier League players.
