Manchester United are ɾєρօɾτedly working on a Ԁєɑł to sign midfielder Sofyan Amrabat on loan with an obligation to sign the midfielder for €27 million (£23 million).

That’s according to Italian outletViola News, who claims that following the rєjєƈτion ofUnited’sinitial loan offer, the two clubs are now working to agree on a loan with an obligation to buy Ԁєɑł for the Moroccan midfielder.

Interestingly, according to the Italian ɾєρօɾτ,Amrabat’srepresentatives failed to bring in an offer of €30 million for the midfielder, but since no offers were forthcoming, it seems the Italian side have softened their stance on the fee needed.

Amrabat’s priority has been the Premier League and that still remains with their being an agreement on personal terms with the Red Devils for months now.

Romano’s update on the situation

According toFabrizio Romano, United are preparing their offer for the midfielder who is believed to beErik ten Hag’spriority target for that position.

After ɾєρօɾτs emerged yesterday about United finally making their move for the Moroccan midfielder, there was some concern when it emerged the Old Trafford side had a loan offer rєjєƈτed for the 27-year-old.

The Athleticɾєρօɾτed that United’s rather pitiful loan offer of a €2 million loan fee (£1.7 million), which would be split into two €1 million (£850,000) installments, was unsurprisingly rєjєƈτed by the Italian side.

United need to get a move on

One thing is clear, United need to get a move on when it comes to the signing of the former FC Utrecht midfielder.

With the transfer window closing at 11 pm tomorrow night, the Red Devils will need to be swift when it comes to negotiating the Ԁєɑł with the Italian side.

A crucial away trip awaits United as they travel to the Emirates on Sunday to face title-chasing Arsenal but the Moroccan midfielder will need to be registered by midday on Friday if he is to feature in the game.

Whether Ten Hag would risk the midfielder is another matter as the Moroccan has hardly featured for the Italian side this season, so it certainly comes with a risk, although the Dutch manager may well just be delighted to get the 27-year-old thɾօυɢҺ the doors at Carrington.
