Tavares enjoyed a decent loan spell at OlympiqueMarseillein the previous campaign when he put in a few impressive displays on the left flank. The 23-year-old made 31 appearances for the French outfit last season, scoring six goals in the process across various competitions.

Tavares is a good tackler of the ball and can make some timely interceptions for his team inside his half. He usually clears the danger when needed and can whip in a few inviting crosses into the opponent’s penalty box.
