This is hardly a surprise after he scored 30Premier Leaguegoals for a strugglingTottenhamside last season. He is also out of contract in 2024 and he’s yet to commit his future to thePremier Leagueclub.

Man Utd have been heavily linked with Kane, but they have turned their attention to Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund, who is set to finalise his move to Old Trafford in the coming days.

Bayern Munich are currently leading the race to sign Kane and they have had a couple of bids rєjєƈτed for the forward. He is understood to be viewed as a perfect long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski.

The club’s chiefs met with Daniel Levy earlier this weekbut they were unable to come to an agreement over a transfer.

Sky Sports are now ɾєρօɾτingthat ‘Kane expects to stay at Tottenham if he is not sold before theirPremier Leagueopener at Brentford on August 13’.

The forward accepts that it would be ‘unfair toSpursif his future was a distraction once the season has started’. The ɾєρօɾτ adds.

‘Bayern ρłɑɴ to offer Kane a five-year contract, taking him almost up to his 35th birthday. He would also become the club’s top earner. ‘There are currently no new meetings scheduled with Spurs after representatives from the two clubs met in London earlier in the week, but all sides are now confident of a Ԁєɑł being struck. ‘Members of Spurs and Bayern’s hierarchy discussed Kane over lunch in the capital on Monday, with talks continuing into the afternoon before the visiting officials returned to Germany in the evening. ‘Spurs want at least £100m for their record goalscorer, who is understood to be open to speaking formally to Bayern should a Ԁєɑł be agreed. Tottenham will also insist on a buy-back clause should Kane return to the Premier League.’

Ex-Premier League forward Gabby Agbonlahor reckonsSpursshould only sell Kane if they receive a £130m bid fromBayern Munich(or someone else).

“I wouldn’t let Kane go for less than £130million, that’s what you’re looking at,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider. “This is because money is not everything, andSpursare loaded.

“They’ve got a Beyonce concert there every week, they are fine for money! Kane didn’t cost them anything as he came from their academy, so why would you sell a player that got you 30 league goals in a team that were miles off it?

“If he was a City player, wow, he will score 40 or 50 goals. They’ve got Richarlison who only does a pigeon dance, and can’t hit a barn door, as he got one goal in 27 games.

“Spurs have a year to persuade him to stay at the club, and if they can’t it is worth taking the hit.”
