Arsenal transfer news: Folarin Balogun has been linked with an exit from Arsenal this summer but it appears as though his valuation may have put other clubs off so far.

With a month or so left in the transfer market,Arsenalhave answered a few of the questions they had heading into the summer window, but not all of them.

Most of those remaining are geared towards potential sales, having already secured the services ofDeclan Rice, Kai HavertzandJurrien Timberin a triple swoop worth over £200million. The trio will be hopeful of pushing the side to new heights, having narrowly missed out on the Premier League last season.

However, balance is required within the squad itself, something thatMikel Artetahas already hinted at with some tough decisions still to come. One of those that has already had to happen surroundedGranit Xhaka, who left the Gunners are seven-years at the club for Bayer Leverkusen this summer.

Questions remain over the future of the likes ofKieran Tierney, Thomas Partey, Rob HoldingandNicolas Pepeto name just a few remaining in the side that could move this summer. Another on the list of potential outgoings is young starFolarin Balogun, as clubs circle a Ԁєɑł.

The Hale єɴԀer impressed on loan with Reims last season and has since taken the leap to representing the USMNT on the international stage. Everything is geared towards becoming a first-team success, but there is uncertainty over whether that will be for Arsenal or elsewhere this season.

Balogun has plenty of competition ahead of him at centre-forward, withGabriel Jesus, Eddie NketiahandLeandro Trossardall capable of filling in there. It’s led to talk of an exit, but with such promise in the future, the price hasn’t been cheap with some ɾєρօɾτs claiming of a valuation that could reach up to £50million.

So far, it’s only seen other teams join talks, with the keenest interest coming from Inter Milan but in a blow, theDaily Mailɾєρօɾτs that they are switching their attention to West Ham’s Gianluca Scamacca after being priced out of a Ԁєɑł for the Arsenal star. Should they drop interest completely, it’s less competition for a player that could be on the way out that may drive down the price.

It leaves Mikel Arteta and his recruitment team with a dilemma over the situation as a lack of minutes may only drive down the price again once the season starts. Equally there could be questions over whether a stay may be beneficial if he is worth the valuation set or even more, though this may mean moving others on.

It remains to be seen exactly which way the Gunners will move with the youngster this summer, but the situation has certainly thrown a curveball for the side to Ԁєɑł with when it comes to figuring out his place in the side and the pathway for other youngsters to succeed for the first-team.
