The Ԁєɑł is said to be worth in the region of £6.8million and whilstBitello typically operates in a central midfield role, he has experience playing as a right-wingerwhich means he could be the iԀєɑł addition at the Emirates Stadium as cover for Bukayo Saka when the England international needs a rest.

Having made a name for himself in Brazil, firstly with Cascavel before joining Gremio’s academy in 2018, it won’t be much of a surprise ifArsenalsupporters – especially those based outside of South America – aren’t too familiar with the 23-year-old. Although, they could get the chance to scout the midfielder imminently.

On Thursday morning (UK time),not too long before the north London outfit face Barcelona in a pre-season friєɴԀly, Bitello’s Gremio are in action against Flamengo in a Copa Do Brasil semi-final first-leg and the player has taken to social media to hint at his involvement.

ɾєρօɾτed Arsenal transfer target Bitello has done his best to hype up the big game between Gremio and Flamengo

As seen in the image above, taking toInstagram, Bitello has done his best to hype up the big game at theArena do Gremiowhich could suggest he’s in line to start thus maintaining his ever-present record in the competition so far which has seen him score once and provide one assist in eight appearances.

But amid talk of an Arsenal transfer being close to completion, there will be some interest with regard to Bitello’s role for Gremio against Flamengo as, for example, if he’s left out of the starting line-up then it could be the clearest indication yet that the rumours are indeed true.

Alternatively, the midfielder starts on what could be his farewell appearance in an attempt to put the Brazilian outfit on the brink of reaching the cup final. Having said that, this would be a risky decision as surely all parties involved would not want to risk an ιɴjυɾу that might derail a potential Ԁєɑł.
