According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal’s priority is now to sell fringe players, with striker Folarin Balogun attracting interest from Inter Milan.

“My understanding for now is that the priority for Arsenal at the moment is to offload and sell players,” Romano toldCaughtOffisde. “I think that’s pretty normal after the big spєɴԀing on Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice.

“As previously ɾєρօɾτed, Thomas Partey is someone who has interest and who could leave if an important offer comes in, while Folarin Balogun is attracting interest from Inter Milan. After that we will see about more additions, but at the moment I’m told there’s no bid or concrete negotiation for (Mohammed) Kudus.

“Brighton have always been interested in Kudus this summer and he remains on their list.”

Saliba admission

William Saliba has admitted thatArsenalmanager Mikel Arteta barely spoke to him last summer following his loan spell with Marseille.

When he returned to north London he was met with little in the way of lengthy conversations from Arteta. “I was so excited to do a pre-season with the team and to try to play in the Premier League and the Europa League,” the French international toldThe Daily Mail.

“He said hello to me the first day and then after he didn’t speak with me. Not for a week.”

The Gunners boss was clearly interested in letting the youngster do the talking on the training pitch, something he had no issue with. “I told myself to be good on the pitch, to give him a solution, to tell him: ‘Yeah I’m ready’,” Saliba continued.

“To tell him on the pitch is the better way… I knew one day he’ll come to speak to me.”

Azeez to Barcelona

Arsenalyoungster Miguel Azeez may be on his way to Barcelona during the summer transfer window.

That is according to Spanish outletSport, who have claimed that the Catalan side are keen to sign the Hale єɴԀ academy graduate for their B team, who currently operate in the third tier of Spanish football. Azeez still has one year left on his contract in north London but it is claimed that he could be allowed to leave on a free transfer, with the Gunners receiving a significant portion of any potential sale in the future.
