Manchester United left back Alex Telles is set to join Al Nassr for £4million, reuniting with Cristiano Ronaldo.
This fee may sound Ԁιȿɑρρօιɴτιɴɢ – but it’s a lot better than what it could have been.
United paid £15.4million to sign Telles from Porto back in 2020, adding vital competition for Luke Shaw at left back.
Seeing him go for just £4million may feel like a bad Ԁєɑł but Fabrizio Romano has shared some insight on his transfer.
Romano claims that all European offers for Telles were to take him on a free transfer.
Al Nassr came forward with £4million and rather than let him go for nothing, United took the small chunk of cash.
The Brazilian is now expected to finalise a move to Saudi Arabia very soon with his United career coming to an єɴԀ.
How much will Alex Telles earn at Al Nassr?
Big names are heading to Saudi Arabia and everybody is wondering just how much these players are earning.
In the case of Telles,Romano suggeststhat he will earn around £7million per season.
Romano didn’t assign a currency to that figure but having used sterling earlier in the tweet, we will assume it’s the same for his wages.
That would bring Telles out to around £135,000-a-week with the left back set to earn big cash in the Middle East.
Al Nassr have already landed big signings in Seko Fofana and Marcelo Brozovic recently, with Telles now set to follow.

Telles to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo
This move also means that Telles will be reuniting with Cristiano Ronaldo in Riyadh.
Telles featured alongside Ronaldo at United for the 2021-22 season and will now be back together again.
As we have previously noted, Telles was the only United player in the 2021-22 campaign to assist two Premier League goals for Ronaldo.
Both came from corner kicks with Telles able to supply the Portuguese hitman.
That’s what Al Nassr are now hoping to recreate as Telles prepares to leave Old Trafford once and for all.
