AtBarcelona, however, Kessie has not been able to realise his potential despite a relatively strong showing since the turn of the year. He could only muster seven league starts last term and with Ilkay Gundogan joining the club, his role in the team could dwindle further ahead of the new season.
With that in mind, Kessie might consider a move elsewhere, with Premier League emerging as his desired destination. The 26-year-old has beenlinkedwith a move to Chelsea recently, but it appears Juventus have shown the most concrete interest among all European clubs so far.
And while Romero states that Kessie would prefer the Premier League, he is now thinking about a return to Italy, suggesting that the Ivorian could be open to a move to Serie A.
