Arsenal have been listed as one of several clubs ɾєρօɾτedly targeting Fluminense midfielder Andre Trindade, alongside Liverpool, Spurs, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
Arsenal are claimed to be rivalling Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur for a rising Brazilian prospect.
Andre Trindade, 22, has been a key part of Fluminense’s midfield since making his first team debut, aged 19. He has gone on to make over 100 appearances for the club and the defensive midfielder was rewarded for his performances in June, when he made his international bow for Brazil.
Despite the record-breaking arrival of Declan Rice,Arsenalhave been touted to re-enter the transfer market in search of a defensive market.Southampton’s Romeo Laviaand Brighton star Moises Caicedo, as well as Gremio prodigy Bitello, have all been cited as ɾєρօɾτed targets. However, Andre’s name has seemingly been added to that list.
It has been ɾєρօɾτed by90minthat the Gunners are one of many clubs that hold a ‘keen interest’ in the Brazilian midfielder. Arsenal are said to be competing with the likes of Spurs, Liverpool and West Ham for his signature, while Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are also viewed as potential suitors.
It is said that Mikel Arteta’s side are one of several clubs to have ‘spoken’ with Andre’s representatives about a possible Ԁєɑł. 90min state that Fluminense’s asking price sits at around £25million, though, an unlikely club are claimed to be leading the transfer race, given the calibre of the other teams mentioned.
Fulham are ɾєρօɾτedly ‘hopeful’ of concluding a Ԁєɑł for Andre, having seen an offer in the region of £20million turned down by the Brazilian side in January. Despite that initial setback, the ɾєρօɾτ insists that Marco Silva’s team remain ‘confident’ of completing a move for the highly-rated midfielder this summer.
