ManchesterCitycould be subject to an approach from Bayern Munich in the coming weeks, should the Bundesliga side fail in their chase of Harry Kane.

The German giants are targeting a move for the Tottenham and England striker having seen two bids rєjєƈτed for the centre-forward, in a process that manyManchester Cityfɑɴȿ will be familiar with following the Etihad club’s own attempts two summers ago.

Given the fɾυȿτɾɑtions being experienced over at the Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich are already considering a number of possibly alternatives, one of which would be to move for one of Manchester City’s current options in attack.

That possibility would stand alongside Bayern Munich’s hopes of securing Kane on a free transfer next summer, however the representatives of theManchester Citystar in question have been swift to respond to the mooted ρłɑɴs.

According to theinformation of BILD’s Christian Falk, should Bayern Munich fail in their pursuit of Harry Kane this summer, then they will instead look to sign the Tottenham frontman as a free agent in the summer of 2024.

In this case, it isfurther statedthat the Bundesliga champions will look towards signing a temporary solution to their striking issues, and as such look to open a dialogue withManchester Cityover a possible loan signing of Julian Alvarez.

Alongside the Argentina international, Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic is alsomentioned by BILDas a possible loan option for Bayern Munich.

Those ambitions regarding theManchester Citystriker may have already been cut short however, as Alvarez’s representatives have been swift to offer their views on the possibility of 12 months in Munich for their client.

Asprovided by Fabrizio Romano, Julian Alvarez’s camp are not considering any loan move as a possibility for the ongoing summer transfer window, with that concept being further described as ‘no chance’.

As for the view fromManchester Cityand perhaps unsurprisingly so, their recent one-year contract extension agreed with the FIFA World Cup winnerreaffirmstheir happiness with the player’s contributions and position within Pep Guardiola’s squad.

ManchesterCityare currently relatively quiet in the transfer market, and even more so when it comes to the possibility of recruiting and strengthening in forward positions, despite an earlier suggestion being that they would look towards signing a new winger.

Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva however, remain strongly linked with respective moves away from the Etihad Stadium – and both are subject to interest from the Saudi Pro League. Should either or both players secure a move away this summer, thenCitymay be sparked into action.

For now, Julian Alvarez remains very much off the market, asCitycontinue to work towards a Ԁєɑł in defence, as they prioritise signing RB Leipzig and Croatia international central defєɴԀer Josko Gvardiol in the coming days and weeks ahead.
