According to the Daily Express, Real Madrid has accepted the signing of Mbappe on a free transfer in the summer of 2024, with the contract potentially being completed as early as January 2024. However, their ρłɑɴs may change in the coming days. Mbappe’s refusal to activate the option to extєɴԀ his contract until 2025 has escalated tensions between the French forward and PSG’s leadership, increasing the likelihood of him leaving Parc des Princes in the summer of 2023.
PSG President Nasser al-Khelaifi has issued an ultimatum to Mbappe. Either he extєɴԀs his contract before July 31st or he will be sold for approximately 200 million euros. This recent development could lead Real Madrid to alter their strategy in pursuing the 24-year-old forward. As a result, Fede Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni are likely to be “sacrificed” in order for Real Madrid to generate around 170 million euros.
Both players have attracted significant interest from several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Newcastle. While Chelsea is keen on Tchouameni as a potential replacement for N’Golo Kante, who has joined Karim Benzema at a Saudi Arabian league, and is prepared to spєɴԀ around 85 million euros, Newcastle is also eager to acquire Valverde to strengthen their attacking power.
