The past 24 hours have been vital in Arda Guler’s situation. Real Madrid appear to havebeaten Barcelonato the Turkish prodigy’s signing, and his desire to move this summer has been key in the same.
According to ɾєρօɾτs fromEl Larguero, Guler has signed a Ԁєɑł with Real Madrid until the summer of 2029. The six-year Ԁєɑł appears to be closed and an announcement is imminent.
Fabrizio Romanohas also given his signature ‘here we go’ to the phenom’s move to Real Madrid. The Italian journalist ɾєρօɾτs that the Ԁєɑł is close to being completed betweenLos Blancosand Fenerbahce with only the final documents being checked.
The Ԁєɑł will include a fee of €20 million and add-ons based on his performance. Further, Fenerbahce will receive 20% of any future sale of the player. A medical exam has already been scheduled.
Guler will be the latest addition to theteam’s high-quality midfieldthat boasts names like Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga.
At just 18 years of age, he is seen as one of the leading members of the midfield core for at least the next decade.
The Fenerbahce star has primarily operated as an attacking midfielder in his short career so far. With the direct competition at Real Madrid cruel, however, it remains to be seen if Carlo Ancelotti finds an alternative approach to incorporate Güler. A role on the right flank, on that front, cannot be ruled out.
In 20 Super Lig appearances for his team last season, the midfielder scored four goals and provided three assists. Further, he averaged a stunning two key passes and two dribbles completed per game and created seven big chances in that duration.
