United will not pay any more than €60m (£51.5m) for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund, according to90min. Ten Hag wants to make the Denmark international, 20, his new leading centre-forward after an exciting start to his professional career.

Hojlund has scored 10 goals for Atalanta since his €17m (£14.6m) move from Sturm Graz last August. United scouts believe the best is yet to come from the striker, which is why Ten Hag is eager to start working with him sooner rather than later.

It’s believed United are hoping to pay less than €60m for Hojlund, but they are prepared to go to that amount if Atalanta don’t budge. The Italians don’t want to lose Hojlund and have previously slapped a €100m (£86m) price tag on him.

Atalanta are thought to have dropped their valuation to somewhere in the region of €75m and €80m (£64m and £69m), but that is still too expensive for United. Hojlund admitted he is “a huge Man Utd fan” earlier this year, adding to the speculation.

Rashford close to new Ԁєɑł

United are confident of making a breakthɾօυɢҺ with Marcus Rashford’s contract talks, according to theDaily Mail. The England international, 25, has just enjoyed the most prolific season of his career to date after scoring 30 goals for the Red Devils.

Rashford is out of contract in a year’s time and United are keen to keep him on board. He currently earns around £250,000-a-week but is expected to become one of the club’s highest earners. It’s thought his new wage could be around £375,000-a-week.
