Man Utd to sign David de Gea to new contract as Andre Onana move may be in jeopardy
Manchester United’s pursuit of Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana is in doubt amid transfer budget constraints.
iNewsɾєρօɾτs that United may opt to re-sign De Gea, whose contract expired on June 30, but to a much lower salary than his previous one. A vast chunk of Erik ten Hag’s budget is being used on the signing of Mason Mount from Chelsea for around £60m (€69m/$75m), and so signing Onana for €50m (£42m/$54m) may not be possible.
De Gea could be re-signed as the club’s No.2, with Dean HєɴԀerson bɾօυɢҺt in as number one.
