With Real Madrid Castilla failing to win promotion to La Liga 2, falling at the final hurdle against Eldense, several young talents are expected to leave this summer, especially with spots in the first team not forthcoming.
21-year-old prodigy Sergio Arribas is one such talent who Real Madrid could lose this summer, with the Spanish attacking midfielder on the radars of many clubs within Spain and abroad.
According to German publicationRuhr Nachrichten, Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are tracking Arribas with a view of signing the youngster from Real Madrid.
Arribas is widely regarded as the best young talent at the Real Madrid youth setup currently. The 21-year-old enjoyed a stunning campaign in 2022/23, finishing with 21 goals and seven assists for Castilla and the senior team combined.
Arribas has a contract with Real Madrid that runs until the summer of 2025. However, despite his obvious potential and quality, a regular spot in the first team does not exist for him at the moment, especially with Brahim Diaz returning, who occupies similar positions on the field.
Furthermore, withLos Blancosalsopursuing the signing of Arda Guler, it could act as another impediment to Arribas’ first-team ambitions.
As such, an exit beckons the 21-year-old prodigy. And Borussia Dortmund are monitoring his situation and are interested in securing his services. The Bundesliga giants are among severalteams to have scouted Arribas.
At the same time, there are many clubs in Spain interested in Spain, both in La Liga and the second division. As such, it remains to be seen where the 21-year-old starlet єɴԀs up in the summer with an exit from Real Madrid looking very likely.
