Ferland MєɴԀy’s agent Yvan Le Mee claimed that the record European champions cannot afford Kylian Mbappe at the moment as they have no money to fund the transfer and his salary.
It is no secret that Mbappe is strongly linked with a move toReal Madridafter deciding not to renew his contract with Paris Saint-Germain. The tension between the player and PSG has been growing ever since the latter informed the forward that he should either sign an extension or leave this summer itself.
In an interview withMARCA, however, Yvan Le Mee has ɾєⱱєɑłєԀ that despite the public interest, Madrid have no money to fund Mbappe’s transfer. More importantly, they cannot afford his extravagant wages as well.
“Will Mbappé go to Madrid this summer? Absolutely not. I’m close toReal Madrid, they have no money,”he said.
“Real Madrid currently has no money for Mbappe’s transfer. They cannot cope with his salary of €40 million net per year, plus the premium of €30 million net per year. He earns between €70 million to €75 million net, while Benzema earned €13 million,”he added.
Speaking during the same interview, the left-back’s representative also admitted that if Mbappe had a proper agent, he would have already been aReal Madridplayer two years ago.
“I am convinced that if he (Kylian Mbappé) had had an agent at the time of the negotiations withReal Madridtwo years ago, he would have gone toReal Madrid,”he explained.
At this moment,Real Madridare said to be verycautious about the Ԁєɑł. While they are hopeful that they can sign the player this summer, they do not want to disrupt whatever peace is left between the forward and the Ligue 1 champions. Once there is an answer from the player’s front, theMerengueswill make a move.
