The north Londoners had their bid turned down and now it has been ɾєⱱєɑłєԀ that Man City’s offer has also unsurprisingly been rєjєƈτed.

TheDaily Telegraph‘s Jason Burt wrote on Twitter: “West Ham have formally rєjєƈτed Man City’s £90m offer for Declan Rice. “

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano now expects Arsenal to “keep pushing” for Rice and insists they will make a third bid soon.

“Let’s start with last night’s really big news about Declan Rice. Manchester City’s opening bid for the West Ham captain is in, and we know Arsenal will also bid again, for a third time,” Romano wrote in hisCaught Offsidecolumn.

“City’s official proposal is £80m plus £10m in add-ons, so a £90m package. Arsenal, from what I understand, have the intention to respond and try again – their last bid was £75m plus £15m in add-ons, but they will try again, they will stay in the race and keep pushing for Rice.”

But former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara has claimed that Rice will turn down Arsenal if he has the choice of joining Mikel Arteta’s side or Man City.

“What do you mean prove himself at Arsenal? He is already proven for England,” O’Hara said ontalkSPORT.

“I will be really Һօɴєȿτ. I don’t want to get your (speaking to an Arsenal fan) spirits down here. But if Man City get a Ԁєɑł agreed and Arsenal get a Ԁєɑł agreed, then there is only one club he is going to, and that’s Manchester City.

“He isn’t signing for Arsenal. You had your moment to sign him and you didn’t take it.

“You think (Rice) cares about a project? Jack Grealish left Aston Villa. He won four trophies in two seasons. He doesn’t care. Declan Rice can go there, win the Premier League and the Champions League. He won’t sign for Arsenal. I am just being Һօɴєȿτ. ‘Oh, he wants to stay in London’. He isn’t going to stay on the moon, he’s going to Manchester.”
