The ɾєρօɾτ further states that Joselu has reduced his salary to sign forReal Madrid.

Following the exits of Karim Benzema and Mariano Diaz, theMerengueswere left with no senior striker on their books heading into the 2023/24 season.

Joselu, who netted 17 goals in all competitions last season, was quickly identified as a target as a backup centre-forward and the club flew into action swiftly. So much so that they have now completed his signing from Espanyol.

It is expected that an official announcement of the Ԁєɑłcould be made next weekfollowing Spain’s UEFA Nations League final clash against Croatia that will take place tomorrow.

Joselu will thus become Real Madrid’s third signing of the summer following the arrivals of Fran Garcia and Jude Bellingham. TheMerengueshave also welcomed back Brahim Diaz to the club after three years on loan at AC Milan.

However, it does not spell the єɴԀ of transfer business for Carlo Ancelotti & co. as they seek another top striker this summer, with names like Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe, andVictor Osimhen on the club’s radar.

For now,Real Madridwill welcome Joselu back to their ranks imminently and only time will tell which other striker will join him at the Santiago Bernabeu later in the summer.
