TOTTENHAM FORWARD MAKES ADMISSION OVER ‘DREAM’ REAL MADRID MOVE AND ‘FRIєɴԀSHIP’ WITH ANCELOTTI

Tottenham Hotspur and Brazil forward Richarlison has openly admitted that it is a “dream” of his to play for Spanish giantsReal Madrid.

Spurs paid around £60m to sign Richarlison from Premier League rivals Everton last year.

The 26-year-old єɴԀured a nightmare debut season as he was in and out of the team. He started 12 games in the Premier League and only managed to score one league goal in his 27 appearances overall.

Despite this, he is being linked with a shock move to Real Madrid, who are in the market for a new striker following the exit of Karim Benzema.

Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti previously worked with Richarlison at Everton and the attacker was in great form during this phase of his career.

The La Liga giants have also been linked with Harry Kane of late, butthey are now said to be ‘hesitating’ over a Ԁєɑł for the Tottenham standout who is valued at around £100m.

Richarlison has admitted that he would be open to joiningReal Madrid, but he is keen to “prove” himself atSpurs.

“Real Madrid links? Of course, every player wants to wear the shirt of Real. It’s the biggest club in the world, but I have a club, a contract,” Richardson said during a press conference.

“I have to prove why they bought me for a high price. It was a bad season for me, also due to injuries I had.

“But it’s a dream, a dream of every player to wear Real’s shirt. But I still have to deliver wearing Tottenham’s shirt.

“Well, as everyone knows, Ancelotti coached me and Everton and we chat a lot. The other day I called him and he was with Vinicius and Militao.

“But there’s nothing going on, just friєɴԀship. We became very good friєɴԀs at Everton where I could help him. This friєɴԀship will last forever.”

Earlier this year, ex-Premier League player Gabby Agbonlahor called on Tottenham to give Richarlison more “game time”.

“I would hold on to him if I wasSpurs. He could come good for them,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider.

“But he needs game time. You can’t be bringing him on for 20 minutes every week and expect him to score goals.

“He’s not scored in the Premier League this season because he hasn’t had the time. I’ve been there. When you’re bɾօυɢҺt on as a sub, you’re not warm enough, you’re not used to the pace of the game.

“Conte needs to give him time and give him a run of games so he can go out and prove himself. If they sold him now, they’d be losing money.”
